AMC

Applied Motor Controls, or AMC, is a specialized company that designs and builds UL listed pump control panels. These panels can be used in both water and wastewater applications and are available in both standard and custom-built designs.

Founded in 1978 and based out of California, AMC has 30 years of experience in designing and producing high quality control panels.

AMC Motor Starters

Motor starters from AMC are designed to connect the motor to full motor voltage. They will provide the maximum torque safely.

Across-the-Line

This type of control panel is designed to offer a combination starter package – it’s considered a full voltage magnetic starter. The panel is designed to provide proper protection against short circuiting, motor overload faults and other issues.

AMC Duplex Booster

These control panels are designed to control two booster pump motors within one system. The panels are often used in situations where a specific system pressure must be maintained.

The AMC duplex pump panel can offer both alternating and duplexing modes. Alternating mode is useful for providing equal wear for both the pump motors. Duplexing mode is handy as it can offer stand-by use of a second pump motor if the first one is overloaded or failing.

AMC Simplex Lift Station

The Simplex Lift Station control panel can handle the level on a municipal or industrial dewatering Lift Station housing within a single pump.

When the level reaches a certain point, the external sensor is activated, turning the pump on. When the level goes down, the pump turns off.
